About Me & Contact Information

My name is Denise Schmidt and I fell in love with beading about five years ago after going into a local beading store and seeing all the beautiful Swarovski Crystal colors and the different shapes. Well, sadly I wanted everything I saw! Realizing that I needed to have a goal to get my beads, I decided to take baby steps and make some items for myself, usually an entire set including the necklace, bracelet and earrings so I was completely accessorized! Well before long, friends at church or my son's school started asking me about my items and if I could make this or that, so I decided to give that a try and started making a lot of team bracelets, earrings, necklaces, etc. Needless to say, my passion has grown and I love making jewelry for every event, occasion or "just because". I have corrupted a few of my friends who help me when they can and you will even see some hand-painted items on my website from time to time which are made by one of my very closest friends, Anna, who would be helping me more if she had the time. After my beautiful grandbaby, Addison, came into the world - the first girl in my family of all brothers & sons, I decided it was time to take my passion to a new level, so here I am making beautiful pieces for all of the special girls in my life and yours!
